Service:Drum Making Workshop - 16" change

Sunday, February 11th
12:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Join Darcy Kernaghan to learn how to make a Raw Deer Hide Hand Drum from start to finish. Beating the drum reunites us with the heartbeat of Mother Earth. Throughout the world’s ancient peoples, it has been used for countless generations in song, ceremony, and healing. The drum connects our spirit with the ancient knowledge of the Universe. Participants will leave with a drum, which they have crafted with their own hands and infused with sacred intentions and energies.

It is a very intimate act to create a drum with your own personal charge and intention, an instrument of prayer and focus. You also get to create your mallet/beater either using a stick of your own, or one we will supplied. Once the workshop is completed you will then be given instructions on how to care for and awaken your drum.

Investment:

12” drum $210 including GST

14" drum $230 including GST

16” drum $250 including GST

A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at time of registration, the balance is due at the start of the workshop.

Please register early as supplies are limited!
